Sharon is a sophomore at MIT studying electrical engineering and computer science. She also plans to apply to medical school. She envisions a future career as a physician-researcher, so that she can both interact directly with patients and do research that applies EE to medicine. She hopes this UROP will confirm her interest in research and expose her to ways that EE and medicine are related.
Sharon also is part of MIT’s newspaper, The Tech. In her spare time, she likes to play table tennis competitively and crochet.
