Eric Pence is an MIT undergraduate from Portland, Oregon. Since beginning at MIT, he has developed an enthusiasm for embedded systems, PCB design, and sensor-interfacing. Inspired to drive medical device innovation by his work as an EMT, he previously developed an IoT wearable that enables individuals with Alzheimer’s to receive improved care. Going forward, he is thrilled to contribute to work by the Conformable Decoders team, as they develop smart fabrics that enable continuous biomedical monitoring of infants.
