Serra is a freshman at MIT interested in studying bioengineering. In high school, through her engineering courses and research in the biomechanics of tissue development, Serra developed a strong interest in applying engineering principles in biological contexts. In the Conformable Decoders group, she will be involved in the characterization of an implantable ultrasound array to treat brain diseases.
