Avani Ahuja is a graduate of Georgetown Day High School, where she pursued her interest in robotics through medical robotics research and participated in the FIRST Robotics Team. She also created an award-winning international magazine to empower womxn in STEM and investigated the experiences of womxn in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes to pursue a double major in mechanical engineering and physics at MIT. In the Conformable Decoders Lab, she is excited to pursue her interest in the intersection of medicine and robotics by designing wearables.
