David earned his Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, with an emphasis on Material Science and MEMS microfabrication and design. As a graduate student, his research focused on using novel nanomaterials for capacitance-based devices towards improved ultrasonic imaging.
Since graduating, David has worked in the microfabrication industry as a Thin Films Engineer in several capacities over the last 5 years in both high-volume manufacturing and research environments. Now, as the Lab Manager in the Conformable Decoders group at the MIT Media Lab, David is excited to support and pursue cutting-edge research into novel microfabricated devices.
