Mujtaba is a first year Mechanical Engineering graduate student at MIT. He earned his dual Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (2) and in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (6-2) and a minor in Nuclear Science and Engineering (22) from MIT in 2020. After graduating, he worked with the Traverso laboratory at MIT and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School as a research engineer designing and developing medical devices and long-term drug delivery systems.

Mujtaba enjoys working at the intersection of medicine and engineering, developing electromechanical systems for therapeutic delivery and biomedical sensing. At the Conformable Decoders, he is interested in developing micro- and nano-fabricated flexible and conformable sensors, digital circuits, and electromechanical systems-on-chip for medical applications.
