Md Osman Goni Nayeem is a postdoctoral research associate at MIT Media Lab, where his research mainly focuses on developing neural implants for recording, stimulation, and drug delivery. Additionally, he is interested in developing flexible/stretchable and mechanically imperceptible electronics that can conformably attach to skin to decode physiological information from the human body. He earned his Ph.D. in 2021 at The University of Tokyo, where his research focused mainly on wearable medical devices, with an emphasis on nanofiber-based gas-permeable sensors to enable long-term monitoring of bodily acoustics without causing any inflammation to the skin. Nayeem completed his M.Eng. in 2018 from the same University and received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
